JUSTDRUMS As a drummer or musician (some say there is a difference!) or producer you'll know that a great drum sound is what it's all about. I've spent the last 10 years developing not only an ear for a great sound, but the technical expertise to tackle tuning kits in a heap of different places. I've had the opportunity to tune kits and/or drum-tech for such players as Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Smith, Virgil Dinati, Billy Cobham and Dave Weckl. Working with these greats has taught me a heap about how to get the best out of a kit. As a seller of hundreds of drum kits and countless pieces of percussion I've observed that even seasoned-players sometimes struggle in getting the best sound out of their gear. For those looking to learn how to tune a kit, get a great sound for a studio or live recording, or just re-skin a djembe, we offer a heap of alternatives; from private one-on-one tuition, through to workshop options. CUSTOMISED TUNING JustDrums provides a national customised tuning service for live shows and studio sessions. It is extremely important that your kit is tuned to its optimum sound for your gig or recording environment.
